Where are the products you're selling manufactured? 

 

All Sandmaiden apparel is made at our atelier in Bellingham, WA, USA at this time.

How do I know which size to order?

How do I know if the pieces I ordered fit me well? 

 

We do not promise anything will fit you well however I prefer to use knit fabrics that stretch and are likely to fit over a variety of sizes and body types.

 

Shipping & Delivery 

 

What does shipping cost? 

 

Shipping in the USA is free over $75.00 otherwise shipping is determined at check out.

 

When will my order be shipped? 

 

Items in the made to order category will ship within 1-2 weeks and the ready to ship category in 1-2 days.  If you’re unsure there is a notice at the top of the listing which tells you when it will ship and also describes it within the listing as made to order or ready to ship

 

How long will it take for my order to be delivered? 

 

Once shipped standard shipping in the USA is 2-6 days and the priority upgrade is 1-3 days, express is 1-2 days.  Sometimes the postman picks up before we ship and this would add a delay of one day.  

International shipping is usually 1-2 weeks but can take longer to clear customs.

All orders are shipped through USPS at this time.

Where do you ship to? 

 

Currently we ship everywhere in the world except the European Union.  We ship from the “Ready to Ship” sections to the European Union from our Etsy shop at www.sandmaidensleepwear.etsy.com 

 

Do I have to be home to receive my shipment? 

 

Orders with a value of over $250.00 are shipped with a signature required.  The postman will leave a tag with the option of waiving the signature and delivering the next day so you know when it is expected to arrive.

 

Returns and Cancellations 

Can (sale) products be returned? 

 

We do accept returns on sale products within 7 days of receipt.  

 

Can made-to-order products be returned?  

 

We do accept returns on made to order within 7 days of receipt with a 20% restocking fee

 

Can Lingerie items be returned?

 

We do not accept returns on lingerie items that are panties or 2 piece sets including panties

 

Can Gift items that haven’t been worn or tried on be returned after 7 days of shipping receipt?  

 

We don’t encourage holding your order to give as a gift at a later date if you are unsure of the size, style or color preference of the recipient,  we suggest ordering a gift certificate instead.   If something absolutely does not work out and it has remained in the packaging, has not been worn, laundered or has any odors of perfume etc we can accept a return for store credit up to 30 days.

 

Can I exchange instead of return?

 

If the item is ready to ship and we have the same item in stock in a different size we can exchange that for you otherwise no, I prefer to issue a refund or store credit so you can check out with the item you want.

 

How do I send a return? 

 

Please contact us through your order confirmation email for a return authorization number, instructions and in some cases we can also issue a return label that can be printed for ease of use.  The cost of the label will be deducted from your refund.

 

When do I get my money back after I return something? 

 

Please allow 2-3 weeks for a return to process

 

What happens with products after they are returned? 

 

If the item is from the ready to ship section and is in the original condition it will be restocked.  If the item is made to order it will either be donated or put in the sale section of the shop.  If we don’t have an image of the garment in the colorway that was returned it is very difficult to re sell, this is the reason for the 20% restocking fee on made to order.  

 

Please note we do not under any circumstances accept returns on panties or sets including panties so you can trust that you will not receive worn panties.  Additionally we reject returns that smell of perfume or other odors or have signs of wear at the risk of getting negative feedback for the reason that we will only restock apparel that is clean and in the original condition.

 

Can I cancel my order? 

 

Ready to ship can be canceled prior to shipping if there is enough notice.  With the made to order if it hasn’t been cut or knit you can cancel your order.  Generally the production starts from the previous week on Mondays but can sometimes be sooner.
