This textile is produced in house by our knitting machine, it is then washed, cut and sewn one piece at a time. The difference between the Superwash Merino wool and our regular Merino wool is this fiber is treated for shrinkage. Wool that has been treated this way is shrink resistant, shinier, drapier and doesn't have a fuzzy texture like our other wool. Although treated wool won't shrink if it ends up in the laundry I don't suggest washing it with other fabrics because it will pick up the fibers from other fabrics and start to have a pilled appearance.
100% merino wool
Hand wash cold or machine wash delicate separately
dry gentle cycle separately.
Wool is naturally antibacterial and is happy to be only spot washed as needed, it will naturally regain it's shape between wears, for this reason wool uses less water, has a smaller footprint and is more sustainable and eco-friendly than synthetic textiles over it's lifespan and yours. Speaking of lifespan when stored properly away from animal dander or soiled clothing your wool garments will last many years and also biodegrade naturally. Shave your wool with a regular razor if pilling occurs.
